About Me!

Hi friends! I wanted my first blog to be more of an introduction so that you can learn more about me… so here it goes! My name is Ashlyn Storm, and I am the owner of Storm & Co. I am about to finish my first year at ACU with a major in Ad/Pr (advertising and public relations). I started my very own business in high school my freshman year, not selling earrings, but soap. Looking back it was very odd but, in the moment it was the time of my life. That experience alone is how I found out I knew I wanted to have a business of my own- But enough about my business because I promise that’s not my only personality trait!

More about me: I am 19 and I love Jesus, mountains, chocolate milk, and rainbows. I am a lover of bright colors, funny stories, meeting new people and I’m an enneagram 4. I like to think I am super outgoing but in reality, I fall perfectly in between an introvert and an extrovert. My favorite animal is a unicorn (but I also love cats if you are thinking more realistically). I am a true child at heart, even though I am technically 19. I grew up in a pretty small town in the heart of Texas, so community has always been something that is very important to me. The college town I am in is basically a “city” upgrade from my hometown, and conveniently home is only an hour and a half away.

College has been a life changing experience for me, by the grace of God. I am so thankful to have the community I have made in college, and I am only in my freshman year. Seeing how God has shaped the path of my life has been the most humbling, beautiful, and emotional experience yet. One of the main things that God has taught me throughout my first year of college is that it’s okay to have an idea of what you want to do and have a general idea of where you want to be going, but don’t make it your identity, and your end all be all. God is going to change the heck out of those plans, and you gotta learn to just roll with it and learn to just throw up your hands and walk the path that God guides you in. I say all of those things from experience, so trust me. God has created such a beautiful, crazy, so very worth it plan for your life. Sometimes the hardest thing to fathom is that the God of the universe created a plan for you, and that it will always be better than the things you have planned for yourself. The only things that we know are the things we have in our heads, but in reality, God has created something so much better for you that you don’t even know about and that you won’t know about until you experience God’s grace and gifts yourself.

Grace and peace with you all and stay tuned for more blogs coming soon!

Proverbs 16:9

In their hearts humans plan their course,

but the Lord establishes their steps.
